A person’s tumblr tells a lot about them. It shows that kind of images they see in their head, who they love, who they hate, even what they think about other people. But most of all, it has all the words they never said to people, all the words they couldn’t have said but should have said.
I’m not here to be “tumblr famous.”
I’m not here to ask people to follow me.
I’m not here to impress any of you.
A blog is practically an online journal.
I post what I want, what I like. I’m here to express myself. If you like what I post, then okay, whatever. If you don’t, then leave. If you’re following me for certain posts but don’t like some of them, then keep scrolling. But please, do not ask me to follow you. Seriously, what will you even get out of it?
I follow the blogs I follow because I like what they post and I like seeing them on my dashboard. To put it bluntly, I’m just going to scroll past your post when I see it. And since I’m following over 100 blogs, most of them who posts/reblogs daily, there’s a lot to go through. What’s the point of following a blog I’m not so interested in?
I mean, wouldn’t it be better if you earned your followers? Wouldn’t you feel better knowing these people are following you because they like what you posts and not because you’re making them?
I notice it’s usually the
tumblr noobs from facebook that asks people to “add” or follow their blog. And I’m just like
on tumblr and facebook, and pretty much on the internet, are driving me nuts. I have nowhere to go. Maybe back to reality.
Maybe grab a book, sit somewhere quietly, or go out. Enjoy life.
I really want to travel. Just to get away from everything. Go somewhere foreign. Learn something new. I never thought the day I would get tired of social networking sites would come.
I’m on tumblr because of the witty posts, pretty and inspiring pictures, and quotes. But as soon as I see a smart-ass reply on a reblog (I know, I can’t help it), it makes me want to close the page.
I can’t wait until I get to make a collage of my favorite picture, print them out, and paste them in my scrapbook.
…I need to write more. That’s my only escape. I’ve been cranky ever since I’ve been on hiatus…. Yeah, I think that’s it.
And spam blogs, EFF OFF! <^>
I will get used to this.
So I love my ancient version of firefox and apparently, Missing E isn’t compatible with it. Instead, I downloaded Chrome, downloaded missing-e to chrome, and I guess all is well.
I kind of see what the hype is about.
And oh, it loads so much more faster!
